GK RB400 2x10 combo with an internal 8 ohm cabinet paired with a 4x10 8 ohm cabinet. The head puts out 280 watts at 4 ohms. Does the wattage distribute evenly between all 6 speakers or does 140 go to the 2x10 and 140 go to the 4x10?

Which amounts to the same thing, doesn't it?

If both cabs have the same impedance, both get 1/2 of the power, and each speaker of each cab gets the same too.

JMX, by my math, if each speaker each got 140, the 2x10 would be getting 70 per speaker while the 4x10 only got 35 per speaker. Right?

    Yup.

The load is evenly split between the two cabs (and distributed evenly inside the cab).

Yup, that's what I meant, the power is distributed evenly between the speakers in a cab.

So if I've got 2 speakers getting twice as much power individually as the 4 others, will it sound weird at all or should it still be a good setup?

    Should work fine.
