    The majority of you guys know a lot about this stuff, so help me out.

    Ok, here's the deal. Right now I have a 400 watt (at 4 ohms), two channel carvin power amp running into a 2x15 cabinet, but only using the one side, for 200 watts. I want to add a little more punch, so I'm thinking about purchasing two 10 inch cabinets (separate cabinets, 125 Watts RMS a piece, 8 ohms)...I have the second channel to give away, so can I parallell rig the speaker cabs, down to 4 ohms as a pair, and add their wattage ratings together; treating the two as a group, for a combined handling capability of 250 W RMS?
    <p>
    RECAP-
    -200 Watts out @ 4 ohms
    -TWO 125 Watt cabs, 8 ohms
    -Parallell connect the two cabs, ohm rating of the two goes down to 4
    -Can I juice the cabs as a pair with 200 watts safely?

  2. Sounds like that will work, I am going to recap just to be sure you are on the same page.

    2 channel Carvin amp

    1-215 cab on channel A

    2-110 8ohm cabs in parallel on channel B

    That should work just fine.
