Hey guys, i know this is not a bass but thought you may enjoy it anyways!
wow! thats good work! how long did it take you to do all that cool stuff on the body?
it took about 30+ hours to carve, it was our first time trying something like this and then another 6 hours to paint it.
id like to see one with an ebony fingerboard and a matching headstock.
That's ok because ol' Waylon was Buddy Holly's bass player.
I have a friend that is a big Waylon fan. He bought the Waylon signature Fender tele but the leather work is not as intricate as the original, So he found out who did Waylon's guitar, Bought another tele and had that guy do one just like waylon's. He also had waylon aughtograph it a couple years before he died. Cool guitar. nice work.
