weak A and D string

    i have a mim pbass and the A and D strings seem to have less volume and tend to stop ringing quicker than the G and E strings. do you guys have any advice to fix it? :bassist:

    Get a setup done, and move the pickups a bit closer.

    The screws at the center of the pick ups may be too tight, making the pick ups go deeper into the body of the bass. If you dont wanna go up to a shop to get it done, just get a screw driver and loosen the screws just a wee bit.

    If the setup doesnt work, it may be the pickups. I was playing a P-bass once and noticed there was a volume difference. I tapped the pickups to realize that one of them wasn't working.
