Does anyone know if there is any disadvantage to using a Z-Matcher in terms of tone or volume loss through a cabinet?

I have a 4 ohm cab and an 8 ohm cab. I want to run both through a 4 ohm load amp head. This Z-Matcher sounds perfect to me. Are there any drawbacks to using a Z-Matcher to do this? (I know its safe, I just want to know in terms of effect on tone and volume, if any).

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks all!

Seems like the device is targeted more toward guitar players, given the low power rating. It's hard to say what effect it would have on the sound.

    Cool idea though.......
