Weird basses

    I haven't seen all of those. Some of those like the fuzzy guitars Ive seen through ZZ Top, but a lot of those are pretty cool.

    What's so weird about the 3rd and 5th basses? Some are very strange indeed. And as he says, probably very uncomfortable to play.

    I think the "weird" aspect on the 5th is simply that it's a 9-string. As for the 3rd, I would assume that they're looking at the build of the neck in respect to the 5th and 6th strings.
