Dale Cruse and BIG BOTTOM are proud to announce our newest contributor: Helena Bouchez. Located in Chicago, Helena started playing bass only four years ago after her then-boyfriend put his vintage G&L L2000 in her hands, cranked his amp, and she struck that E string. She says that sonic thunder resulted in her immediate and total conversion. She attended Victor Wooten's Bass Nature Camp in 2005 and has recently been studying with noted jazz bassist Bill Harrison, and is mentored and heavily influenced by avant funk fusion bassist Jauqo III-X. She's a great writer and a welcome addition to the team. Please take a moment to welcome Helena onboard.

I don't know about you guys, but if I referred to my wife as a "big bottom contributor," I'd be sleeping on the couch for a month. I'm sure Helena's a welcome addition. Welcome aboard! Alan
Thanks! I'm looking forward to it! -Helena (aka Neusergrrl) PS - PinkFloydDan - the answer to your question is "Not anymore!"
She's georgous, that's fer sher! I'm curious what her writing style is like.. Ah, Chicago, I haven't lived there for awhile... What a great rock scene!
I had the pleasure of meeting Helena at the Chicago GTG a few weeks ago. I'm sure she'll be great addition to the TB team. For starters I think we need a story on the Chicago GTG, including that pic of you with my EUB. Welcome Aboard!
Welcome Helena! And Nadav thank you for making me feel INSANELY old, I graduated HS the day you were born... yipes.
Radi8: Isn't Bill Harrison the BOMB! I'm a horrible student, so I am doubly appreciative of his knowledge and flexibility and creativity in teaching me. I tell everyone about him!
