Check out the picture.
Must be an alternate universe. The projects I saw in New Orleans sure aren't anything I would be in a hurry to get into.
It's the people that make it so bad, but anyone who lived in a place like that and complained doesn't deserve what they have.
As the saying goes: "Broke is temporary, poor is eternal" :scowl:
Welcome to SOLA!
you guys know it's satire, right?
Just making sure...
You've obviously not been to SOLA.
Don't you think people should get more money the longer they's on welfare? You wouldn't like it if you was in a job and didn't get a pay raise.
I thought it was, "What is worse, dirty hands or dirty blood?"
The PICTURE is real. The story that goes with it is satire.
Thats just wrong...I WORK and don't have a 60" TV.....
Thats it...I'm quitting my job.
I watched a special on a guy that did quit his job, he drove in a nice car to a parking lot, put on some rag's for clothes and pan handled. He made somewhere around 80k that yr. doing it.
A guy wading through water to collect bottles for the recycling money is working the system?
Or is there something else going on in that picture?
I believe he looted Heinekens after hurricane Katrina.
OK gotcha. Carry on.
Yeah, he's affectionately known as "Lootie".
