Well I have finally made my decision on a bass...

    Hello everyone. I have been doing some research on basses that I want to get. And I have figured out which one I want. I am going to get the Carvin JB5. I know it will give me most of the tones that I want and I really like the way that the one that I want looks. I've played Musicman basses, Ibanez basses, and Fender basses and I went with the Carvin because it looks better than all the others. I know I can't play the Carvin before I buy, but If I don't like it I can return it no questions asked. But anyways, here is the bass I want to get:

    I will have all of these features EXCEPT the J99a Single coil pickups. It will have the H50 humbucker pickups.

    That's one intense looking bass!
    It's nice to be different...and that definitely is.
    If you had to name a bass, that'd be the Grey Ghost.

    I know. I have always liked the wood grain look. Its what I like and I would rather this than a blue or green bass.

    It looks like petrified wood.
    Almost too nice to play.
