A box! Yeah that's it, a corrugated box! Single color of tan, no flame, no quilt, just pure cardboard. :D :D :D

I needed a box to ship a Fender P-Bass Deluxe(bass content) that I sold on E-Bay. I'll be returning, since they're in my neck of the woods, to play some of them beauties he's got up there.

  2. Is the bottom line of your sig referring to said box?

    :D

    edit: btw, pics?

  3. Sweet!
We talking staples or packing tape holding the corners?

How about some pictures. Quiltless tan is my favorite colour for a box.

Does Roger still consider graphite reinforcement in boxes to be a marketing ploy?

Okay guys, I'm working on those photo's, trying to get the lighting just so. I want you folks to get the full effect of this baby. Somebody mentioned sustain, who was that? Anyway, sustain, I got your sustain right here! Scale length, 34-35, shhh, try 39 or 40.

See, I love this box, it came without a bridge, which means, I can string this baby like a piano, just the bass side, using fiber optic cable which will put the light wave basses to shame. Gotta go now folks, got some serious work to do. :D

I have a rare pre-flood box from Prague in the Czech Republic. Got it last year with my MTD Beast. These old-world European boxes have a certain je-ne-sais-qua that you can't find anywhere else.

I had a beautiful box once apon a time. triangular with, get this, Stapled AND taped corners!!

At first it was really heavy, but i fixed that by removing the lump of glossy wood (that had a weird butterfly on the end) from the inside. Does anyone know what this was for? was it for protecting the box? a lucky charm? either way, it went on the fire. But my box was perfect.

ah, how i remember it well.

Yeah, the Sadowsky box is pretty darn good...but IMHO the Fodera box is the best in the business. Vinnie hand picks the burl horse chestnut wood pulp that will be mixed with the finest purified water in order to produce the very finest cardboard on the planet! Sure $1000 sounds like a bit much for a box...and it is...but us perfeshunuls know that ya gotta dig deep to get the quality gigs.

Fender MIM boxes? Puhleeeeez! They're okay but only if you modify the crap outta them.

  19. For me, its F Box all the way baby!!:D
