Well today I took a trip to a somewhat local music store, originally just to look. I ended up finding a Geddy Lee Jazz, and playing it a lot, and liking it a lot. I had played one before, but the store sold it before I was in the market to buy it. Anyway, this was just an unexpected buy, but a very good one :D .

    Here's some pics

Wow que lindo bajo(in english wow what a beauty bass) you have three nice basses but the Jazz is the best good looking one, congrats and have fun. :hyper:

  3. My Geddy just arrived this afternoon. It's one of the nicest jazz's I've played. Only needed a tuning and it was ready to go. Nice buy. Curious, if you don't mind, how much did you pay?

I paid 599$ new at a local store
It comes with free setups and such, so even if it was more than I should have, It's worth it. The guys were real nice, they even offered to set it up for me for free BEFORE I bought it, just so I could try it and have an accurate feel for it.

Why yes sir, I'm quite the skank :smug:
Though I'd love to play it more than I do. It's one of my favorite kinds of music to listen to.

you are very lucky, nice price and nice advice in your purchase

  7. You pretty much have the basses I want, lmao...

Warwick Corvette and a Music Man, althought I think Id prefer the Sterling over the Sting Ray.

Nice collection overall, hope you treat em well, and dont beat em to hell! :D

80s ska encouraged me to pick up the bass.

Specials, Clash, Bad Manners, Madness. Love em.

    I'd never :bawl:
    haha

I tried a Sterling and the Ray, and I came out liking the Ray

I love the Specials, and the Toasters is one of my biggest. Ska definitely has great bass

Nice bass bro. I was thinking of picking one up and throwing a black pickguard on it. They are great basses. I would rather have 6 of those than a Sadowsky any day. ;)

Yeah, it came with stock pickups and they sound great.

And Geddy's do look good with black pickguards, I just think I'll keep it 2 tone though.

I've always wanted an excuse to get that strap :p

That would've been nice, since I have 2 fours already, but I feel with Fender, it's gotta be 4. I wish one of my OTHER basses was a 5 instead :( They both make excellent 5's, but I'm not sure I'd use the B all too much, I didn't on my Pedulla when I had it.

    Yeah.. hmm
They only come in one color too :eyebrow:

  17. Great price, same as I paid but they've gone up since. I saw a GL with a black peal pick but I'm with you, leaving it stock looks nice. People have complained about p/u hum but I keep my volume all the way up on both, no hum. You've got a great group of basses. My next one will probably be a G&L.

    G&L's are really nice
I think I'm bassed out for a time.

But I'll probably grab a mexi P sometime just to have a P
