  1. I went down top MAE, the good local music place around where i live to see what kinda used goods they had. I played alot of basses but the one i liked the most was the Status S-2. So....I bought it :-D. Its the first graphite neck-thru ive ever seen and its really reall really versitile. I can get alot different sounds out of it :)

That's one of the nicest Status basses I've ever seen. Congrats.

How do you like it compared to a Modulus?

I've played both. To me, the Status has a warmer, fuller, more versatile tone. The neck is also more comfortable. on the Status. In fact, the Status feels like it was made by a bassist for a bassist. The Modulus felt like it was made by someone who had great engineering skills but didn't play himself.

That's just my take on it.

It does look like a beautiful bass, btw;)

  7. one question.....why two strap buttons?

is it to help it stand up on its end?

it is for FiElDy Strap positioning...

  9. I love the color and the wood grain of that bass! It's really got some eye appeal and I am sure sounds excellent.

    Play well!

I believe the two button's are for different weight positioning and distributioning on the bass.
  11. Jeff said that the two strap buttons were so that when you put the bass down it dosent scrath the bottom. As for the status compaired to My flea bass......well lets just say that i dont think im gonna be using my flea anytime soon :) lol. The sound is much fuller on the Status. Also it feels better and IMO, looks better.
