I can't wait for these cats to drop an album already. Unfortunetly they've had a little trouble finding a singer. Wes is probably my ideal guitarist. He's great. Was'nt sure if any of his fans on this board new he had something new coming out. I love the new sound from what I've heard. Also in the photo's section he's recording a track with a Carl Thompson. No word yet on who their bassist is but he's reunited with his younger brother Scott on Keyboards.Eat The Day
Personally I'm glad he left Limp Bizkit cuz they sound better now but i still wanna hear wes's new band and see if he's any better
No. He did a project called Big Dumb Face with his brother. I was'nt really into it though. It was sort of a waste of talent IMHO. Kinda like wierd Al meets Mr. Bungle(I like Bungle though). I just dig Wes's approach to his instrument. I think he's sited more bassist's as influences than guitarist. I remember him being a huge Claypool fan.
I wish Limp Bizkit would get back toghether sans Fred Durst. I loved the other three. They played toghether so well, especially on the first album befreo Durst started to ruin things. Wes had amazing riffs, and Sam played some great basslines behind it. John was a pretty good drummer too...
True, I've always said that Limp Bizket would have been an incredible band without Fred. His immature and really thoughtless lyrics and horrible sense of rhythm made me hate them. I'm not going to even go into his persona. Anyway, the Eat Thd Day samples on the site sound really cool. I've been waiting for quite a while to hear some actual songs though.
