I realize most people might think they are a joke, but the bass playing on the first two albums was awesome. I can't seem to find any info on who the bass player was. On all thier videos, the same bass player can be seen. I think it might be Daryl Jones (The Lakland endorsee) am I right? If not, who?

  2. I think it might be Dion Estes.

Hi my name is Dave. I played in a band in the 80's and our manager was a guy named (excuse spelling) Qureen Radox oor Q as he liked to be called. He was the bass player for Wham and Dion. Took over from him. It is Q in the video for 'Wham Rap' found your link in my search looking to hook up with Q again. Hope this settles it?

The 80's is littered with fantabulous bass lines from mostly unknown where-are-they-now's.

Such is the music business - in any decade.

True, but the 80's is up there as a great decade for bass.

Oh, I thought it was the 50s with bassists like Paul Chambers, or was it the 60s with McCartney or Jamerson, or the 70s with Jaco or Stanley Clarke.

There are ALWAYS great players at any time period. Bach comes to mind in 1725.

    :D

This record was released Dec. '89 - I guess that still counts as the '80s.

Thank the gods that we don't have that '80s drum sound anymore - YUK!
