    Anyone have any?
I'd like to hear it clean and with distortion (sansamp)
or any songs with bass (not guitar, i've heard that)
If any one has any by any chance, that would be great.

    thanks.

Doug Wimbish uses a Whammy on "Flying" from the latest Living Colour release.

Not to mention the intro on "Wall" from the third album "Stain". It has some really bad ass whammy work.

Justin Chancellor of Tool is another one.

    Yo! Philly
Bootsy used a Whammy extensively in the Praxis and Zillatron recordings he did with Bill Laswell.

    At Amazon:

Zillatron - Lord of the Harvest
You can hear distorted Whammy just at the end of the clip from "Smell the Secrets"

    Praxis - Transmutation
One long, slow distorted pitch bend in the clip from "Dead Man Walking"

  5. for a great example of the whammy in action, listen to Jacob Fred Jazz Oddysey. Reed Mathis is one of the masters of the whammy, and keeps it engaged for many of their songs...you can find a few live songs on www.jfjo.com and 116 (legally) recorded concerts at www.archive.org
He really uses the whammy extensively, but no distortion...although he does a few with a wah pedal and a delay
