Which of the many sub forums do you enjoy the most?

I tend to be partial to the Luthiers sub forum.
I find the builds and projects that you guys have going on to be quite fascinating and informative
generally all the technical forums are great too.
Hardware, setup and repair is a good place to gather info from some Very experienced Individuals

what floats your boat around here? Chime in.

I never actually learned to play very well
Since I had to give up attempting to learn to play bass years ago, I gravitate to Off Topic.

  3. Basses, because I like to learn about the latest gear, and discuss a bass that I actually own. I only talk about basses either I own or have played.
    After basses, Off Topic.

I usually only go into Amps, Strings and Pickups when I'm looking to buy something.

Basses and Off Topic. I also check out the Classifieds every day, although usually only the Basses for sale. Lord knows I don't NEED anymore though! I visit the other forums when I'm looking for info specific to those forums.

I like to think I’m here for Bassists, recordings, notation, band management, general instruction and technique- but I do spend an awful lot of time in Basses and amps n cabs! :roflmao:

I also like hardware, setup, repair, and strings, but only when I have specific questions; I rarely “cruise” those forums.

i've gotten into the habit of clicking on "recent posts" so i end up reading in a bunch of the subforums from that list, whether or not i post. i'm a sucker for NBDs when they 'float up' to the first few pages --- it's fun to see what others get excited about --- and the pics are always cool.

    i like 'em all! :D

    OT, usually.
Then bass humour, miscellaneous, and band management.
I occasionally drift into the luthier section just to reinforce my awe at the abilities and possibilities to be seen there.

  13. When I visit TalkBass, I usually navigate through:
    Basses
    For Sale: Basses
    For Sale: Amps, etc
    TB Bazaar
    Hot Deals
    Miscellaneous
    Off Topic

    Less frequently, I visit:
    Amps
Luthier's Corner, particularly TB Builder's Showcase
    Bass Humor

Going way back, I used to visit the Bass Central and Warwick Sponsored sub-forums. It was cool while WarwickOfficial was monitoring the sub-forum.

    Amps, BM, OT, Humor.

I also use keyword search to follow specific users and topics no matter which forum they are in.

    Keeps things interesting.

  15. Amps, Off Topic, Live Sound, Luthier's Corner (neat watching them build) and if I remember Accessories, keep forgetting about Accessories. Judging by the traffic there I think many do not remember about Accessories.
    Here it is. Click>Accessories [BG]

Did stumble into the Double Bass side a few times.
That is like the episodes of Star Trek where everyone shaved off their goatee.

Do not care to see or read about basses and never want to see a Classified item so never go there.

    Same here.

When I started here, it was mostly Amps, then Basses. Then a bit into Bassists. More into Live Sound, Recording subforums for technical topics. Band Management is a favourite.

But most of my stuff has been Off Topic in the last couple of years - after all, it IS the 3rd most popular subforum on TB.
