I have a friend who does 250 on his stock honda all the time :rollno:

Eh, maybe the cop doesn't know the differance between a 2 and a 1 and the paperwork is too much so he doesnt want to rewrite the ticket.

There can be no "rewriting the ticket."

The cop is an idiot for doing that. There's no possible way that will stand up in court, so funny enough, the kid will get off scot-free.

It wouldn't take much to prove that the bike is incapable of going that fast either.
  7. smells like poop......... looks like poop...... :meh: yeah...

There are 3 charges, my predictions:

    Speeding: Dismissed
    Reckless Driving: Adjudication Withheld
No Endorsement: Adjudication Withheld or small fine.

Everything has to be going perfect for a properly set up bike to go 175mph at Daytona, a properly set up FACTORY RACE BIKE that is. Suspension and aerodynamics plays a big role in making that happen. It's not all about a motor. Nobody has ever seen a Factory Honda RC51 going 205 at Daytona have they? Hmmmm? Honda with their resources and the riding skills of a professional rider can't do it.

A two year old RC51 on the street with some street gak riding it going 205mph? I doubt it. :scowl:

Of course he could have had a JATO bottle strapped to it. The story said nothing about a blue flame comming out the back of bike did it?
  10. It's true!! If can make a VW van go 175, than a Honda can go 205, right?

    Rock on
  11. I was expecting a teacher putting a piece of poo someone left on the floor into the kids crock-pot in home ec class. :meh: :D

No. But that could actually happen.

You know if you stapped a piece of "poo" to a JATO bottle...
  13. This story is total crud.

Everyone knows that once you hit 88mph, the only thing possible is time travel.
