What age is my Fender P?

    Yep,
    I've got a Fender P and I've no idea how to date it..........
    It's only got these numbers on the headstock..
    236.930 3 236.930 3,260 148
    ...and anyone that I've asked hasn't a clue about them.
    Can anyone help me?

  2. Those look like patent numbers. S/N should be on front or back of headstock or on the neck plate. Also, the neck should have a date stamped on the end that is mounted in the "neck pocket".
