I've seen a lot of QSC, some Crown, some others, from pics and forums on this site. From my PA experience, I rather like Crown in general, but this is for Bass only. I'm pretty sure the specs don't tell the story.

So what companies and models are good for bass players????

I'm not in the market for right now, as my gas list is already extensive, but I'd like to get some knowledge.
  2. QSC and Stewart are the big ones that most people on this forum like.

I like my Stewart world 1.2, light (11LBS) 1 rack space, 200w/stereo, 1200 mono into 4. it is a "switching amp" and some people say playing in places with bad power tends to lower the output volume, but I've never noticed. 1.2 has no fan so leave some rack space if you play outside or in hot venues!! I do like the sound for bass, not PA or studio.
