What are some cheap, good jazz bass?

    Im looking to buy another jazz bass. I got a Fender Jazz Bass and a Squire P-Bass.
    One, how much could i get for a used squire
    two, whats a good jazz Bass?

    I would think you wouldn't get much for a used Squier P - my understanding is they sell for $179 new. So maybe $100 if in good shape.

    A good jazz bass? Depends on the price range. I generally think the Fenders are best dollar for dollar in the range. MIMs rule the lower end while Geddy Lee's, 75 RI and MIA jazzes seem to be the best in the $1000 or less range. The G&L JB-2 or Lakland Skylines are awesome too for right around $1000, I think.

    Way above that, Lulls and Sadowsky...
