what are some good pa's

    hey, i think im going to get a pa thing if play any small gigs, so could you give me suggestions and the price ranges that'll be cool :cool:

    one of my favorite combinations, we use it for vocals, guitar, and bass sometimes in my classic rock cover band here in ann arbor.

    2 Peavey 2 way cabs, forget the model number...
    but they each have a folded horn 15, and a huge horn tweeter up top. each weighs about 150 lbs i think. I think they guys piecked em up for $150 a piece.

    We power them with a 2 x 200watt 12 channel fender mixer, that looks like its 20 years old.

    i know this isnt top line stuff, but the fact that it still sounds good, and we havent ad any problems with it is a testament to the reliability of peavey cabs, and the fender mixer. (200 bucks w/roadcase used at a GC)
