What are your EQ settings?

  1. ON your bass Do you leave it flat? If you have a bass with a blend control do you leave it flat?

What about your amp? Is it also flat?

Board: +3dB from 180-340Hz, otherwise flat.
Bass (Fender P): Tone adjusted to taste, usually around 8 or 9 out of 10, depends on the room.

It works for me. The rest of the guys in the band like it. Sound guys have never mentioned it being bad.

Bah! I started a thread on this a while back that failed miserably...

But my tone knob is full on, and on my amp, my bass and treble are slighty boosted, and my low and high mids are at about eighty and ninety percent respectivley.

  10. J-retro:

    Bass-3 o' clock
    Mid freq- 10 o' clock
    Mid cut/boost-4 o' clock
treble- High noon, or 2 o' clock
