   Pretty simple- what are your go-to headphones for bass practice?
   
   I've got a pair of Sennheiser HD280s that I've had forever and it seems like lately they struggle with definition. It's hard to pick out bass lines in recorded music, even when they're painfully obvious on my stereo or even my standard iPhone earbuds.

   I have two of those Sennheisers that work fine, but they do tend be less refined/defined in the bass than the AKG K401 headphones I went back to for learning bass lines from songs.
