what bass do you think is the best one under $1000

  1. I was wondering what brand new unused bass you guys would consider one of the best basses under $1000. I do not intend on buying one right now, but I just thought it'd be interesting. Thanks ahead of time for the info!

  3. G&L L2000 4-string or L2500 5-string. I have an L2000 and it rules, tone out the wazzoo and it plays great. Bass North West is the biggest retailer of them and you can get a new one in the $900's

Although I haven't gotten a chance to play one, the czech made Spector rebop bolt ons seem like great basses for under $1000.

  8. lmao, first thing I said was new and unused bass and someone says used Sterling.....eh....Great bass but not under 1000 when new (unless its employee discount and stuff)...

I was actually really impressed with the ESP LTD C-305....it sounds so rich, nice 35 inch scale, great neck, and it's like 560 new.

I'll second the Czech Spectors, or if you want to get something that's a little bit cheaper, I'll also second the Conklin groove tools :D Very nice feel and tone on those for the price

I can't believe nobody has put in the MTD Kingston, or Heir, or the Lakland 55-01. All of those are great basses to be had for cheap(ish).
