Vintage Gibson EB-3 go to gibsonbass.com to learn more. They have a reissue model out now but the neck pickup is a thunderbird style on so it won't sound the same. there is also a rather nice epiphone model just go to epiphone.com

but in the past 20 years he has used warwicks and there is now a warwick jack bruce reunion bass. which u can find under news or something on warwick.com

  3. he also played an EB-1 for the reunion concerts

The warwick website is actually warwickbass.com.

Yeah last time I saw him live on a UK TV show, he was playing what looked like a fretless Warwick Thumb bass - but his intonation was audibly "out" and it really stood out...:meh:

I've seen quite a few, pretty old (70+) Jazz DB players with perfect intonation!! :)

Don't think he ever used it during any of the shows, from what I've read. But it is there on stage for the product plug ;)

  10. he did use his signature fretless thumb, but didn't use the warwick SG bass

I was at the Oct 26th show at MSG. He used the EB-1 for the first half of the show and the fretless Warwick for the rest.
