What bass does Krist from Nirvana use in the video for "In Bloom"?

    Could someone please tell me what kind of bass Krist from Nirvana plays in the video for "In Bloom"?
    Its an electric bass that has a double bass headstock, it looks ****ing cool.

    I haven't actually seen the video. The only basses I have ever seen him use are Gibson Thunderbirds, Rippers, and RD Artists.

    He also used a Warwick Dolphin on the "You Know you're Right" sessions.

    i had planned to make a bass with a db headstock, but with my first being a ten-stringer, i thought that'd be hard to come by:D . krist's may be a custom job, and i imagine you could get a custom builder to make you one like it. i always thought that the standard fender headstock was supposed to be a profile of a db headstock. is it?

    Thanks everyone for their help. I found out with your help, its actually an Ampeg scroll bass. It was really bugging me i really wanted to know what it was. thanks again
