    oh boy...

well, this info is available throughout the 'net, i believe. but i'll do it my best from memory.

    RHCP: unsure. possibly a 'ray.

    Freaky: 'ray.

    Uplift: Spector. possibly a 'ray

    Mother's: Spector. possibly a 'ray

    BSSM: Wal. Stingray 5

OHM: alembic. forget which model. also a 'ray (on "aeroplane")

Californication: Modulus flea. possibly a vintage Fender.

    how accurate?

the bassopotomus plays an alembic epic 4 string

    taken from bass player mag
[Ed. Note: According to Alembic, Flea's bass is a stock Epic 4-string with a mahogany body, flame-maple top, and a three-piece maple neck with an ebony fingerboard.] http://archive.bassplayer.com/artists/flea.shtml

there you go guys hope that clears up a problem

    heh heh...

i was just shooting from my memory, remember?

    i read that article, too.

the epics are the lowest-end alembics, correct? (i went on the alembic site frequently after reading the article. the epic was almost in my price range!)
  5. Bumping 'cause I love the tone in the solo from "Aeroplane".

Was that a Stingray or Alembic in the solo?
  6. Not to familiar with his axes or rig, but just wanted to say that IMO - Flea's getting better on each album. He shows alot more versitility than he did 4 albums ago.

I dig jamming along w/ "Walkabout: on OHM.

    Props to Flea!! :bassist:
