What bass has these specs?

    since theres no SX short scales coming up recently, im gonna just try to find a smaller spacing 5.

    So heres what im looking for.. Tell me if any bass fits this for under like $500

    - Smaller string spacing (under 17mm)
    - 5 string
    - 35" scale
    - Maple fretboard (preferably blank inlays)

    Um that is whats most important, but a nice quilt laminate/top would be nice too.

    There was a Peavey Millennium 5 in the Classifieds that seems to fit that description.

    The Peavey Milleneum has most of the options your looking for, though I think it's over 500$. The SR505 has 34" scale. The Cirrus BXP 5-string has a quilt top as well, but it's nearer to 700$. Cirrus BXP = exactly what you described. Dang nice basses too.

    short scale? 35''? thats nowhere near considered short scale. maybe I'm just confused by the wording in your post or something.

    yes you are, I was going to get a short scale, but I given up for now, and just want a 35".

    Mainly looking for a nice maple fretboard neck, with 35" and small string spacing, I am considering replacing the body of whatever I get eventually.

    maybe i shoulda made the thread subject, what bass has a Neck with those specs.. hm
