Whats going on every one. just wondering what ever one is playing. im playing a Dean Q5. Great bass.
My MTD Kingston, soon to be "retroed".
I don't mean to be ostentatious**, but I simply don't have a #1. I rotate through the following basses at gigs, depending on which band I'm performing with, my mood, my stage clothing, and/or the phase of the moon (some of these variables could be related...)
Fender Roscoe Beck V
Modulus Quantum 5
Warwick Streamer Stage I 5
**Note that this selection is rather meager compared to others here at TB.
Stingray. Love the sound and the feel.
Mr. Bassman No Sweat 4-string neck-thru.
It's the prototype/predecessor of the Human Base Jonas:
Warwick Streamer Stage 2 5string
Musicman Sterling w/Moses graphite neck
MTD Kingston and an Ibanez GSR200, and soon, probably a Warmoth.
Ric 4003 Midnight Blue and 4003 Mapleglo (strung low B)....nothing exotic but I love 'em
my spector ns-94 neckthrough
I have 2 basses, Yamaha RBX460 4 string and Godin BG5 5 string.
a whole buttload of conklins.
For most of the fretted stuff:
Sadowsky Vintage 5
Sadowsky 5, Zon Lightwave and Fender Jaco P Relic
I'll work my DP Custom 6 and '72 Jazz into the rotation as often as I can.
Yamaha rbx765a, modest but I love it
30% Rick 4001
Fender American Deluxe Jazz V FMT
At church, my Zon Sonus Custom fretless 5 and my Peavey Cirrus 6.
With the originals band, Peavey Cirrus 6, Hamer CH-12 and Westone Quantum headless 4.
With the oldies band, Pedulla Rapture J2 5, Fender Jazz Geddy Lee and Electra-Westone fretless.
19(85?) Ibanez ATK 300.
I have a p-bass that i hardly ever touch anymore.
Fretted Godin A4
Fretless Godin A5 (with High C and Hipshot on the E)
...those are the main two for solo work. But, in different situations I might be found playing:
Epiphone Jack Casady
Turner Electroline Fretless
65 P Bass (with TI flats)
Washburn Ab40 ABG
Dean Performer Plus ABG
For jazz, Washburn XB-600 6 string.
For rock, Fender MIM Jazz 5 string.
