I saw this pic and was wondering. What kind of bass is this?
Judging by the tiny practice amp in the background and the cheap looking bridge, I'm gonna guess that it's a lower end Ibanez. Probably $200 or less.
older GSR series, i had one i few years ago, i paid less than $200 at guitar center
Looks to me like an Ibanez GSRM (Mikro). Lower end Ibanez, you see these a lot (or something very similar) in the beginner packs. $179 for the bass brand-spanking new.
Here are my sources.
this pic was posted on some forum so I IMed the guy that put it up, and when he did respond for I decided maybe you guys could help me. I was leaning towards it being a cheap Ibanez too Then soon after posting this thread he messages me with a pic of the headstock, and apparenly its a fender squire??? Anyone ever seen this model squire before??
Squier a while back did make some of those! I had a friend who had one he had painted all over and was his beater bass. They still (i think) make a form of it with Skull and Crossbones...it may be the elusive "Best Bass for Metal"
Did a CL of my area search and found this ad:
I have a silver metalic 4 sting squier bass guitar with 2 guitar cords (that plug from the guitar to amp) and a 15 marshall amp. Also a C.A House soft case. All works great. $150
Wonder if i should get this just to noodle around with
Take away 1 cord and the case and that's my very first setup... well the bass was black, but still
