Can't find the brand of basses that have a big gold lion's head at the tailpiece and a million toggle switches in a straight line.

If you know the brand...what do you think of them?

kind of reminded me of an alembic (they'll probably kill me for that)..anybody?
  3. I know the ones you're talking about, can't remember the name, very expensive high-end instruments, beautiful craftsmanship

YES! Thanks. One of the coolest basses I've ever seen. Love the lion!
  5. I don't like the lions head, but that must be one immensely powerful bass.
    Tone monster for sure!

I'm not sure if I care for the aesthetics, but that pickup and preamp system look sick.

i really dig that thing.... i cant imagine they are any wheres near affordable haha. and as said earlier....i bet one of those would rip apart alot of basses in the tone dept. its probably heavier than H too. wouldn't mind taking one for a test drive though

"Loewenherz" means "lion heart" in German. Good thing they use a lion head/face for the tailpiece instead. :)

Wow! Lots of basses these days have a semi parametric mid control, but I have never seen one with that capability on board for the bass and treble EQ.

I was thinking about getting a doorbell installed in my bass, but I guess the traditional brass knocker is classier.

there's a video of him playing one on the company's website, just me or does he really suck ass? Maybe that's the reason for such a "looker" bass, so you don't really have to be good...just look the part. give me a sec to get the link.

*Did you just say that SC sucks ass? Did I read that right?
  16. Stanley is one beast of an upright player, Certainly one of the most entertaining if nothing else.

If I recall correctly, the one at Bass Exchange was eight grand.
