With one hand. I can do a couple of reps of 40 lbs. with my right hand. I can do a lot of reps of 20 lbs. with my left hand. What about you guys?
This reminds me of the "How much ya bench?" with Emilio Estevez skit on SNL. I believe that particular episode featured Pearl Jam. I could be wrong about that though. -Mike
Not to belittle an already pointless thread, but what exercise are you refering to pray tell. Bicep curl, tricep curl, vertical press, etc. All motions that use your arm/chest. Which reminds me, I need to go to the gym.
When I read this my first answer was "Oh probably srill around a hundred pounds per hand." Dude...Rude surprise. Working in a childrens hospital has apparently been seriously bad for my muscle situation. I went and got out my old weights, which are now my sons weights, and discovered that the same effort I remember exerting to lift 120 lb for one arm rows lifts all of... 85 lbs. This ain't right. I have always been the strongest guy in the room, unless there was someone on the freakish end of the spectrum present. (For example: Frequent Mr Universe/Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman wasa police officer here in Arlington for much of the time I rode the ambulance for Arlington EMS. He would definitely be stronger.) Based on an 85 lb one arm row, I'm now not a whole lot stronger than average. That sucks. Now I gotta start lifting again.
So I take it your still pulling the camel toe elvis look huh? Wherever you drop some pounds let me know so I can pick em up eh?
Well since I've been at MSU, I haven't gained weight, which is what normally happens to students away from home for the first time. I had a period of weight loss, but studies took precedence over working out. I did get my bench press to 250, which is 40 lbs more than I weigh. Versus 220 over the summer before school. Anyway, shut up slim. I think I remember you whining about how heavy my Corvette was. Next semester you are welcome to come up for a weekend to watch a game and get smoked by me in racquetball.
When I was in "Peak Shape" and really hittin the weights, I could handle a Warwick Thumb Neck Thru 6 STRING!!!
Because if this does include with the assistance of a dolly then I can TOTALLY lift more than 40 lbs...over and over again. brad cook
