I downloaded a couple of new Christmas albums one of which was John Legend's. I'm no big fan was just looking for some new Christmas songs to listen to, what I didn't expect was to enjoy the bass playing so much. 'Silver Bells' is a great track. Don't know who his bass player is on this album but there's some great stuff on there to enjoy.

So that got me thinking what Christmas song has the best bass line?

Singing bass in a choir is usually rooty boredom, but here we get great runs all over the place.

The original from a few posts above.
I've always liked this one since I was a kid. I never considered myself being Pig Pen, playing a three-string DB, but I could so do that now.
