What color is my Mex Jazz Bass?

    Hi ...I just picked this up an a regional Guitar fair, I know its blue and its 2004 ( MZ4) but what shade ect It is a hansome beasty and is in great condition. I only ask because Im terribly color blind and if someone asks, I'm in big doo-doo!

    It's a ghastly shade of pink. :p

    It looks like some kind of misty blue, I'm sure someone can give you the proper Fender name for it. Either way, I think it is quite tasteful.

    I think that color is called "sage green metallic"

    It was the color that attracted me, its very cool....I'll wait to see what the consensus is tho...
     
  8. Hey I have the Laney RB4 too, what do you think of it?

    And yeah, its a blue, looks metallic almost :)

    Moomoocajoo, The RB4 Is a good amp for rehearsal to small pub gigs. Very Flexible EQ and the FX loop is uesfull .Goes really well with both my Jazz's

    That is either Fender Color #29 Blue Agave or #08 Ocean Tuquiose. Outside chance it could be #83 Ice Blue Metallic. I do a lot of photography so my monitor is color-calibrated but your digital camera and processing could have impacted the color as well. Given all those factors, I would lean toward Blue Agave. Was that too much info? :smug:

    MIM Jazz basses were offered Blue Agave, Sage Green Metallic, Brown Sunburst, Black and Midnight Wine in the early oughts.

    Yours is Blue Agave. I have a fretless J in that color. A friend of mine who has no interest in musical instruments (she was married to a jazz guitarist, so that probably figures) told me my Jazz was a "classy looking bass."

    This is the best I could do with my little sony W50 It does have a slight metallic sheen.

    I have it's brother MIM Jazz fretless in that color...I love it

    Yup, Blue Agave it is. I have a Strat in that color.
