I'm looking at a SR5 that someone is describing as Rustic Orange. Of course I find no reference anywhere. Any clues?
    Thanks.

I do recall seeing the same color bass at a GC about a year ago. Appears to be the same as this, but I'm sure it was not either of the colors mentioned. I have seen LP and DG in person. Maybe a GC special???

EB doesnt run special colors other than what is a national limited edition and listed on their website.

They did have a color called Radiance Red, which could be a posibility as well.

  9. I'll take a crack at this - if he called it 'rustic orange' that may well be what it is. MM has discountinued a number of colors - I have an SR5 that is a wierd brownish to orange burst with sparkles in the finish. Yes, that's right, sparkles. It's a nice looking bass but I haven't been able to identify the color yet.

    Good luck!

I've checked the EB site, and forum, but cannot come up with anything on this. Maybe "The Man" will see this thread.:D

You also have to tihnk that the lighting makes the pictures innacurate.

Im pretty sure its either lava pearl or radiance red.

  12. pretty sure the pickguard is white...

Fig, Of course you may be right, but it's funny that I recall seeing another at GC that "appeared" the same as the photo... Who knows?

Its Lava Pearl, with some incredibly bad lighting. There is a Orangish colour that was discontinued and only sold in a limited run to Guitar Center that was called Copperhead Bronze. However, every Copperhead Bronze bass was sold with the washed copper pickguard and black pickup.

Lava Pearl actually has a bit of sparkle in it.
