what color should i paint this bass?

    ok i have a home made bass. the body is natural right now..it has an ebony board, gold hardware..

    i want to paint the body. i can get it done in any color....any color!!!!!!which should it be?

    Sky-blue pink!


    Or a tartan would be good!


    Seriously though, I was gonna get one of my basses re-finished in a colouer I've see a few cars in.......it's either a sort of orange or greenish, and as your viewing perspective changes, it changes to reds, blues and purples - quite wild - like oil on water almost!

    Just leave it natural if you can. Or a transparant finish would be nice... of course it all depends on what wood you have on the body

    A deep purplish maroon would look pretty sweet with gold hardware
