what colour pickgaurd to get for HW1 jazz in red?

    I want to change the white pickgaurd on my red Fender HW1 jazz but cant choose a colour. was thinking about a tort but would love some input on this.

    mirror would look pretty radical...
    u shud also look for a checkers pickgaurd...
    that would be flashy

    Black, white and pearloid. All=sweet. Personally, I like the traditoinal white.

    True, my teacher'S guitar is red w/ white pearloid guard. Mirror would look cool though, maybe like a different colour mirror, like black mirror or soemthign.

    Thanks all for the input. ill do some photoshopping tonight and try a few out. i like the black idea. i had a mirror plate on my p-bass but i see you can get different colour mirrors now.

    I saw this Valenti bass made on the Warmoth site. With the maple fretboard and black hardware there's something very voodoo about it.

    my preference on any color bass is red tort :cool: It goes with everything IMO :smug:

    hmmmm, i like the idea of a black mirror finish. do you know where i might find a pick of a bass with one on it.?

  14. Just kidding on that cause he is from London, but I agree it would look like ass.

    My personal fav at the moment would be this if I were in the market for one. Would look good on My white Fender with Rosewood board.


    Not this particular one as I have a Jazz but you get the idea.
