what compressor do you recomend?

    I recently purchased a DBS multi compressor pedal and am happy with its performance ,but I am not sure a pedal is the way I want to go. I like a very mild amount of multi band compression to smooth out my sound .Can anyone recommend a compressor ( $300 range) that will take up 1 rack space ? Also, how would I hook it up? My rig is a SWR SM -500 ,it has speakon connections and I run it mono to a 6x10 Goliath sr. How would I hook up the compressor? Your replies are appreciated.

    The dbx 160A is the best one out there. Trust me. Many will agree with me. Never have I been so confident.
