  1. Curious as to what y'all do to get the gig and then keep it?
I know the "best" player doesn't always get the job.
I know what I do, what do you do?

The three T's... Time, Taste, and Tone. Have good sounding equipment, reliable transportation, show up on time, don't be an a** :D

    The usual common-sense stuff

Show up early, prepared, polite, and ready to play. Then without acting cocky I play it like I already own the gig.
  4. Absolutely.
  5. to get a gig you have to be really sneaky, I personnally recomend using a fishing net to catch it, on keeping it- any old jar will hold it, I would recomend you don't use a mayonaise jar, I heard gigs don't like the stuff:D

Be tasteful with your volume. I think as many gigs are lost for being too loud, than for being too talentless.
