  1. I think their is an old thread about this but any way here we go. I am looking for a new car, I really like the VW GTI 4 door, sporty, good on gas, and might fit my bass gear. Just wondering what everyones driving to get the gear around that gets decent milage. This will be replacing an 03 jeep grand cherokee that I really like except the 17 MPG.

I drive an "Unce-Unce Failmobile," to quote the guy above me.

Actually, it's an '08 Lexus IS250, but I like the quote. (30 mpg highway!)

Last time i mentioned this in a post i was flamed... but what the heck!

2007 Jaguar XK. My Rob Allen mouse and a Phil Jones Briefcase fits in the hatch. It sort of has a back seat but no place for your legs. Not something you drive in the snow. Goes very, very fast. Gets about 24 mpg.

here's a little film my co-workers and i made about it. Music by Blues Explosion (caution: its actually a :60 TV ad we did for Jaguar)

Normally I haul my stuff in an Audi Allroad wagon. Cool adjustable air suspension lets you raise the car up and down from the dash.

Shockingly, nothing has broken on the Duster in the almost 1 year that I have owned it. A linkage bushing popped out and cost me like $1 to fix. Had to drive home in first gear though :(
