What do you guys suggest for a new rig?

    Right now I have a Hartke 3500 series head and a MArshall 4x10 800 watt 4 ohm cabinet.
    The head is only rated for 350 watts but the cab is good to 800. I am half considering selling the cab and buying a 300 watt 2x10 Eden setup and a seperate cabinet with a 18 inch bottom and stack the two. What do you think? What would you do in my situation? should I sell the head and go bigger? Or keep the head and sell the cabinet. We play progressive Rock/alternative and I normally am not that loud on stage. What do you think?

    Your choice of Eden cabs is right on.I'm not a fan of 18's so I would go with the 210 and a 115....but that's me for my sound.

    As for the power I would go Eden again. I have a 500 watt Eden amp feeding a 700 watt Eden 410. Its a great sounding rig but every once in awhile I would like a little more headroom. The Eden 800 watt amp would do the trick nicely. Personally, except for reasons of financial economy, I would not buy a 350 watt amp. I find them too limiting if you are going to play in anything larger than a medium size venue. But again that's me...you'll find lots of guys who think otherwise.

    Cool thanks :) What about a big Eden head driving my 800Watt Marshall 4x10 cabinet. And then look at switching up cabinets down the road?

    The head is pretty decent and gives decent control. THe cabinet is 4-OHM and that sucks cause I want to add a 15inch to my system but cant due to the cabinet. Maybe I should dump the cab and get a 2x10 Eden cab and then get another 15 inch cab later. That might be a good blend. :)
