    Im considering this trade.

My EB MM 4 string SR
for a Warwick Corvette Proline 4 string

I think it would overall be better for the music im into but I have yet to try one

I would definitely try first, as that is a huge difference in tone. If you dig everything, go for it as both as similar values used.

Sure, why not. But before you do, play it first. If you can't, find and try a Corvette somewhere. The feel and sound of a Vette is quite different from a Stingray. I use to have a SR and the only thing they have in common is they are both basses. Also are they in simular condition. I would not trade a mint SR for a well used Vette. Trade mint for mint, used for used, ect...

Very different sound, Warwicks a lot more mid rangey, and the necks couldn't be further apart in terms of feel. Try before you buy.
