What does everyone recommend for a 35'' scale?

I am planning my next bass purchase. I am sure you will guess what when I ask:

What is the best (in your experience) string set for an extended scale 5-string bass? I prefer one that I can string through the body, so a taper wound set would have to have a monstously long taper to intonate properly.

I have previously only played 4-strings. My favorite string has been the GHS Pressurewounds. I like the sound of roundwounds with a feel closer to flats, especially for fretless.

I read the table on sstring characteristics. I understand that I will need a longer wound area than most sets will have for a 35" scale, and I am especially wondering about stringing through the body.

    Any help is appreciated.
  2. Taperwounds, he asks?

I string DR Longnecks through the body of my 35" Lakland - they work just fine.
