Me and Sophia want to start a duo... Her on flute and a little guitar, me on bass and a little guitar... how would bass and flute sound together, do you think?

It can be cool but sounds a little thin. In High School Jazz Band we did a tune called 'Gawain and the Green Knight' or something like that. It had a cool bass-and-flute soli near the end. Just me and a girl named Tammy and the whole jazz band comping behind us.

"I laughed. I cried. I fell down. I saw God. What can I say. It was good."

  3. It might sound "less thin" if you were to use bigger guitars - something like a Martin D28, or D12-28 (the 12-string version), rather than the "little guitars" you mentioned (you didn't specify exactly which brand...)

  4. Yeah, if you can scrape the $2500 that it takes to BUY a D28. :help:

    Author's Note: No, I don't want to buy a D28...my dad already has one...:smug:
