Lets try this again!
something that came out of the black hole that was fender america in the mid 80's!
If it was from the mid-eighties it should have a serial number on the headstock. I don't know what it is either, but I am suspicous of it being a real Fender. I like it though.
Because it's different?
Looks kind of Like A Stu Hamm prototype?
What is It??
? No one knows?
It is a mexican Precision Special from the early '90s!
yeah i was going to say a precision style bass thats been modified..
Thanks, I know I had seen one of these before. I just got it for $225 mint codition.
No problem, Cogno Great deal, by the way!
There are two Knobs. I assume they are volume and tone. Do you know if there is a pull type pan control on these? I just got it off ebay and have not received yet.
I'm not entirely sure about this, but I think these use some kind of concentric type of knobs similar to those found on early Jazz-basses.
If it is that concentric design that is great. That was one of Fender better innovations. Cogno
It is a Stu Hamm Urge bass made in Mexico. The music store next to me has 2 of them. The American made one has 2 J-bass and 1 P-bass pickups, the foreign made one like yours has a p/j setup. They are nice basses for the money.
