I blew a fuse on my Peavey Firebass 700 bass amp playing with the HF level too high. What kind of fuse should I order to replace it, and how do I replace it? Or do I have to take it to a shop?

Your amp has a circuit breaker on the back panel that's labeled "RESET". Make sure the amp is turned off and press the little button in firmly then let it go. If the amp does not come on or trips the circuit breaker again it has a real problem and needs to be taken to the shop.

+1 the fuse is a protection circuit, and if it blows, it usually indicates you need an amp tech.
