    Hi there,
I`m just thinking what influence has the thikness of the strings on the sound. What is better 40-60-80-100 or 45-65-85-105 or else?

Welcome to TalkBass dude! Is that Bulgaria?...Cool!

Gauge is certainly a factor. There is some other stuff that affects tone -
core material, core shape, wrap material and shape.
Also, your choice depends on the type of music YOU play: metal, jazz, funk, etc.
What kind of tone are you shootin' for? (fill out your profile :D ).

I don't know what the situation is in your town.
Is there a local shop that carries a variety of strings?

Herm (this forum's moderator) also sells strings. He could probably get some to you.
Here is an online shop that ships internationally ( http://www.juststrings.com ).

In addition to this forum, there are some string reviews here ~

    Good Luck! :)
