What happened to The Libster?

  1. I just tried to get to the Libster site, and it says that the site is closed! What's goin' on??

    wow, that sucks. i hope that site comes back - that's one of the best instructional sites i've seen.

    It would be most unfortunate if Libster was closed down indefinitely.

    I doubt it will be shut down.

    The web site had a pretty bad design, so they are probably updating that.

    Its kind of unusual just to have something like that, not even an email adress so that you can send an email to them asking them whats happening....

    Hmm unusual...

    some of the pages from this site still exist in "google heaven" do a search for libster on www.google.com and click on the 'cached' button and tada! the page appears.... im sure this cant replaces the actual site but you can get something usefull....

    Libster announced on its site some time ago that the site was closing down. It was still up for months after the announcement and I figured there was a change in plans. Apparently not.

    When I read the announcement I started printing out the lessons. I have them all in a binder. I almost went broke buying ink cartridges.

    I'm sure glad that I did. Libster was/is the best online lesson site, by far, that I've been able to find.

  10. It has closed down, this has really p****d me off i was only told about that site a week ago and as my printer's bust i couldn't get much out of it.

    I tried the google thing but it didn't work, :(
    Anyone know any other ways??

  13. Yeh that would be nice, they had no sponsor's the last week. Does anyone know how to get hold of the guy who run's (ran) it. I'll pay for all the stuff on there.

    man!!! i cant believe this. i owe it to the libster cause his site really helped me learn how to site read bass cleff.
