What happened to Twiggy?

  1. Do any Manson people out there know what happened to Twiggy from Marilyn Manson? Tim Skold is now their new bassist.

He's now gone back to his real name Jeordie White (I think that's his last name...I could be way off) and is playing bass for A Perfect Circle.

  3. manson fired him because he wouldnt 'live the lifestyle'

  4. Tim Skold as in the guy from KMFDM?

  5. To Nomadic Herder, who's KMFDM? I heard Tim was from a different band but I don't remeber who.

  8. KMFDM was a great German industrial band from the early 80s to around 2000. They broke up, and reformed as MDFMK.

I miss Twiggy, manson went to crap after Twiggy.

  11. They only had one album as MDFMK (which was absolutely awesome), but they're back as KMFDM now (and have at least one new album out).

I dunno. Maybe he wasn't spooky during interviews? Or didn't repeatedly deny being a tool of the devil, perhaps?

Or, it's entirely possible if he's doing APC (who are by and large pretty talented) that he told Manson he was a wanker, so he left, and Manson wanted to make him look like some sorta poser or something...

I know he used a two string Warlock with Manson; maybe he's got a whole bunch of bass up his sleeve?

  13. I agree, but I think they started to suck after Zim Zum was replaced with John 5 (John wrote nothing on Mechanical Animals, so after that album is what i mean).

A lot of people dont know that Twiggy wrote a lot of the music, not just bass. I'm pretty sure he wrote most of the guitar(except on Holy Wood, which I thought was pretty weak). He also had a bunch of interesting basslines.

Did Twiggy write Beautiful People? Because IMO, that's Manso's only song worth hearing more than once...

  15. I dont know exactly what he wrote, but probably. You seriously like that one song but not the rest of the album?
