What Happens?

    I was just browsing through the search device as I commonly do, and went very far back in the archives.

    Anyway I started noticing a lot of people who I had never seen around here or heard of, some registered from Jan 200 with 8 posts, or Apr 2000 with 12 posts, or just one post since 1999. Anyway what happens to these folk, do they put away the bass, and stop coming here? Or do some just post every six or so months?

    I guess some of them aren't commited bass players, some might be guitarists who had to play bass for one gig and registered just to ask a question, some of them might have registered and forgotten or just decided it wasn't for them, some might have registered but only use the rest of Talkbass and not the community, and some of them, dare I say it, might have....

    chances are alot of them only registered to win the free gear give aways that were held back then and then bailed.
